OFC has recently entered into an agreement with DuPont to develop an irrigation business in Saudi Arabia, using patented DuPont technology irrigation pipes, which can irrigate landscaping and crops using brackish and saline water.

The first stage in business is to carry out a series of irrigation field trials using this system, with some of the large scale trials lasting over 12-18 months.

Field Trial Phase (1-24 months)
The person will initially be responsible for overseeing the installation of the irrigation systems, regular monitoring and reporting on the results of the trials. The person will also be responsible for suggesting modifications and improvements depending on the results of the trials.

At the start of this phase, the candidate will be provided technical training by DuPont on the system and its technical aspects.

Post Trial Phase (Commercial Phase)
The person will be part of the technical team involved in designing the system to suit particular customers. Depending on the candidate, he may be suitable to be the design team leader or the execution team leader.

Will consider experience on either the design or the contracting sectors of irrigation. Preference is for a graduate from a Saudi University.
