Watertown residents ? check out the great Hunting Widow's Weekend

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

G.L. Berg Entertainment, Performing Artists & Speakers is pleased to announce a partnership with the Watertown-Mayer School District and community organizations to present fun, affordable, and family-friendly performances in the Performing Arts Center at Watertown-Mayer High School.

The first performance, ?Hunting Widows? Weekend Comedy Show,? will occur on Friday, November 2, 2012 featuring double-headliners comedienne MARY ROWLES and comedian JASON SCHOMMER.? The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. and is completely appropriate for all ages.?

Mary Rowles proves to be one of the most original comediennes performing today. This knock-out, stand-out comedienne is a combination of Lily Tomlin, Andrea Martin and Celine Dion all rolled into one! Her broad spectrum of talent, combined with?over twenty years of experience, she has become one of the most sought after female comediennes in the Midwest. Playing to standing ovations from coast to coast, her heartwarming characters, side splitting stand-up comedy, and hilariously inspired songs create a contagious laughter that begins the moment she walks on stage and lasts for weeks.

Jason Schommer is a stand-up comedian who kicked off 2011 by opening for Minnesota Comedy Legend Louie Anderson at his annual New Year?s Eve shows! In 2010 Jason made his Las Vegas debut where he opened for Louie Anderson for two nights at his long-running hit show ?Louie: Larger than Life? at Excalibur Hotel and Casino. Louie Anderson says ?Jason Schommer is someone who will make you laugh and make you hungry for more!.? His unique comedy style ranges from observational humor based on his life and family, to recounting hysterical encounters with infamous celebrities and hilarious commentary of pop culture.?? Jason began his adventures in the world of standup comedy while working as a production assistant for ?The Rosie O?Donnell Show? in New York City. When the show?s writers thought he was funny they signed him up to perform at the New York Comedy Club. Jason took to the stage and easily won over the crowd with his ordeals of being a Minnesota boy in the big city for the first time. That was just the beginning. Since then, Jason has gone on to be a crowd favorite among audiences all over.

Tickets for this performance are $15 in advance ($20 at the door), and are available online through www.glbergpresents.com or through these local partners:? Watertown Pharmacy, Marketplace Foods, and the W-M Community Education Office.

G.L.
